These terms govern your use of scaplet.com and the Scaplet app. By creating an account or using Scaplet, you agree to them on behalf of yourself and any organization you represent.
1. Your account
You must be at least 16 and give accurate information when you sign up. You are responsible for your account, everything that happens in your workspaces, and keeping your login secure. Tell us right away at security@scaplet.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
2. Using Scaplet
You may only add websites and connect accounts you own or are authorized to manage. You agree not to:
- Break the law or infringe anyone’s rights with Scaplet or its output.
- Use Scaplet to create spam, misleading content or deceptive SEO schemes.
- Probe, overload or disrupt the service, or get around usage limits.
- Reverse engineer Scaplet or resell it without our written permission.
- Scrape the service or use it to build a competing product.
3. Your content
You own your content: the sites, data and instructions you bring, and the drafts and reports Scaplet produces for you. You give us a limited license to host, process and display it only to provide and secure the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
4. AI output
Scaplet uses AI, and AI makes mistakes. Review drafts and suggested changes before you approve them. You are responsible for what you publish, and we do not guarantee any ranking, traffic or AI search placement.
5. Changes Scaplet makes
When you give Scaplet write access to a CMS or repository, it acts within the permissions and approval rules you set. New pages and content always wait for your approval. You can undo any change from the app, and you can revoke access at any time.
6. Third-party services
Integrations such as Google Search Console, your CMS or GitHub are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for them, and a change on their side may affect what Scaplet can do.
7. Plans and payment
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, and renew automatically until cancelled.
- Plans include monthly credits. Unused credits do not roll over unless your plan says so.
- You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and fees already paid are not refundable except where the law requires.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice, starting from your next renewal.
- Prices exclude taxes, which you are responsible for.
8. Our property
Scaplet, including the software, design and brand, belongs to us. If you send us feedback, we may use it without any obligation to you.
9. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Scaplet and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or goes unpaid, and we will give notice when we reasonably can. After closure, we delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers
Scaplet is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Scaplet is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, traffic or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose.
12. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Scaplet against claims arising from your content, the websites you manage, or your breach of these terms.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will email account owners at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use Scaplet after that means you accept the new terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
